BOSTON (CBS) — Kevin Weeks may well be a star witness for the prosecution in the federal trial of James “Whitey” Bulger, but he’s no star in the eyes of victims’ families.

Weeks testified Monday that his longtime partner and pal Jim Bulger was in fact the triggerman the night in 1982 that Michael Donahue was gunned down. But he says he didn’t know who the other guy in Whitey’s car was.
“I got no respect for that fat bully,” Tommy Donahue said of Weeks after court.
Donahue’s father was killed during a hit meant for another man, Brain Halloran, who was thought to be cooperating with the FBI against Winter Hill. Halloran also died in that shooting.
