According to United States Chief Judge: Mark L. Wolf’s letter to United States Attorney General: Roberto Gonzales:dated December 8, 2006, stated: Judge: Mark L. Wolf’s letter

This man is an honorable man, he has integrity according to United States District Court Chief Judge: Mark L. Wolf.He was caught on audio tape scolding his foot soldiers to raise their kids in a non-drug neighborhood, and to place them in good schools. He forbid the children to be involved with illegal activities and was a great father.Ferrara was a up and comer in the local Mafia according to mob experts.Ferrara is well educated and graduated from Boston College were he excelled in the academics. But according to the FBI and other law enforcement investigators he was one of the most dangerous Mafia leaders, who was nicknamed “The Animal” because of his fierceness.Ferrara’s case help expose a career Assistant United States Attorney: Jeffrey Auerhahn’s corrupt tactics, and nearly got him fired and indicted. As a Federal prosecutor cannot intentionally withhold core exculpatory material Brady evidence from defendant as he did In Ferrara and Marino’s case, as the PUBLIC records so supports.

See United States v. Ferrara, 384 F.Supp.2d 384 (D.Mass.2005); United States v. Ferrara, 456 F.3d __(1st Cir.2006), which independently corroborates that Assistant United States Attorney:   Jefferey Auerhahn intentionally withheld core exculpatory material Brady, Giles, and Giglio evidence from Ferrara and his lawyers during the Grand Jury Stage and Sentencing stage without any transparent corresponding accountability.

Assistant United States Attorney:  Jefferey Auerhahn conspired with FBI agent:Michael Buckley to tamper with witnesses (Jordan) and withhold the exculpatory evidence that leads to Ferrara’s actual innocence of the Limoli murder.Ferrara was sentenced to 22 years for the slaying of Limoli but was freed after sixteen years in prison when united states Chief Judge: Mark L. Wolf,  found that Assistant United States Attorney: Jeffrey Auerhahn intentionally violated Ferrara’s Due Process under the 5th Amendment by intentionally withholding core exculpatory material Brady, Giles and Giglio evidence from the defense.

When a federal prosecutor INTENTIONALLY withholds Brady evidence he commits a felony and like everyone else should have been prosecuted for committing a criminal act. Instead Assistant United States Attorney: Auerhahn was only through out of Organized Crime Unit and received a disciplinary letter of reprimand. The United States Department of Justice ‘s investigation into their own was like the fox guarding the chicken coup, they completely white washed it.Assistant United States Attorney : Auerhahn also prosecuted Vincent M. Marino , and withheld even more egregious governmental misconduct and Brady discovery from Marino’s 1998 and 1999 jury trials.

Assistant United States Attorney: Auerhahn Continuous misconduct:

As an example, Assistant United States Attorney: Auerhahn was armed with information that three TOP ECHELON FBI informants: Angelo “Sonny” Mercurio, Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi and  James “Whitey” Bulger set-up Francis “Cadillac Frank” Salemme to be shot on June 16, 1989 long before he seeked to indict Vincent M. Marino  and  Enrico “RICO” Ponzo for it.See United States v. Salemme, 91 F.Supp.2d 263 (D.Mass.1999); Also see Salemme, 91 F.Supp.2d pages 267-269 (exhibits: 188-246) placed under seal (D.Mass.1999). Assistant United States Attorney:  Auerhahn also knew that FBI agents: Connolly and Buckley received cash payoffs from FBI TOP ECHELON informants Bulger, Flemmi from 1980s through 1990s, long before FBI agent: Buckley falsely testified against Marino in front of the 1997 Federal grand jury and 1998and 1999 RICO trials. Moreover, Assistant United States Attorney : Auerhahn in Marino’s first Trial (See DOCUMENT 581) also see (DOCUMENT DATE OCT. 22, 1998 Judge:  Nathaniel M. Gorton allows the dismissal of Count 30/Act-B cocaine conspiracy against Marino) also dismissed Count 30 cocaine conspiracy also depicted as predicate racketeering Act-B from Marino’s indictment because of potential double jeopardy problems concerning Marino’s other drug case during the same period with the same government witness John “Smiley” Mele in both trials. See United States v. Marino, CR-97-40009-NMG. (D.Mass); also see United States v. Marino,  #97-1006-JLT. ? have to check docket number, in front of Judge: Tauro Boston. However reintroduced it back on the Verdict Sheet on December 22, 1999, in Marino’s second trial which the jury marked PROVEN on predicate racketeering Act-B/Count 30 Cocaine conspiracy. With the preclusion of Act-B from Counts 1 and 2 would also preclude the extra 30 years Marino received from both counts, as it violates Marino’s 5th Amendment right under Double Jeopardy and Due Process, currently Marino is unlawfully held OVER an extra 14 years in prison because of the egregious government misconduct, without any transparent corresponding accountability.

Alleged extortion:

In 1987, just two years after the Limoli murder, A famous bookmaker named Harry “Doc” Sagansky was snatched along with his side kick Moe Weinstein and was at Angelo “Sonny” Mercurio’s Prudential Center Restaurant called “Vanessa’s” when with the information supplied by James “Whitey” Bulger and Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi, allowed the Boston FBI agents: Connolly (now serving 40 years for murder), Buckley (forced to retire agent Connolly’s partner and suspect and investigated in murders also fraudulently testified against Marino at the 1997 federal grand jury and 1998 and 1999 jury trials see U.S. v. Marino, CR-97-40009-NMG. (D.Mass/Boston/Worcester), Ring (retired and investigated for corruption), Callen (fired for choking out a federal prosecutor), and Newton(fired for taking cash payoffs from informants Bulger, Flemmi and Weeks) to place listening devices in Mercurio’s restaurant, which caught on tape the alleged extortion of two high ranking millionaire bookmakers: Sagansky and Weinstein for $500,000 allegedly by Ferrara, Carrozza, Russo, Lepore and Mercurio. Also caught on tape was the response from Sagansky saying to Ferrara, “kid, I’m 89 years old, how long do you think I’ll be a in the bookmaking business?” According to Boston herald columnist Howie Carr, Ferrara shrugged and told Sagansky he would hold the bookie’s sidekick Moe Weinstein, as collateral. Sagansky delivered the $500,000 in cash to Ferrara the next day inside the lobby of a up-scale Boston hotel, and Weinstein was released unharmed.

Induction Ceremony:

By 1989, it was clear who was in charge: Russo, Ferrara and Carrozza , et al., of the New England Mob.Another infamous moment came during the secretly taped on false and intentional information to get the warrant by FBI agent: Walter Steffens and Chief of the New England Organized Crime Strike Force: Diane Kottmyer’s intentionally made false and misleading accounts, lied to a federal judge in the application for a very intrusive ROVING BUG electronic surveillance of 34 Guild Street in Medford, Massachusetts, the location of a landmark infamous first time ever recording of a Mafia induction ceremony although the contents of it would be fruit from a poisonous tree scenario. The FBI clandestinely recorded the ceremony. It was Ferrara’s closing words that lent a bit of irony to the solemn occasion.”Only the ghost knows what really took place over here today by God,” he said as he and Russo left the house after the mafia induction ceremony.  Make that God and the FBI.Also the tapes also found that Mercurio was conspiring to purchase explosives from someone and other crimes attributed to Mercurio ,as FBI agent Connolly played the tapes to Mercurio , it also facilitated Mercurio’s agreement to cooperate with the FBI , with the assistance of Bulger and Flemmi’s convincing Mercurio to work with FBI agents: Buckley, Connolly, Ring , Newton and Callen.

Ferrara is without question the most honorable respected men in New England. And is now a completely legitimate business man, too smart to be involved with any rackets and is a good father to his wonderful kids and a well liked, and educated person in the community, also extremely religious.
